BERKLEE INTERNATIONAL FOLK MUSIC FESTIVAL 2017 - DEGMEN BENIM GAMLI YASLI GÖNLÜME
I was the leader of the "Music of Turkey" segment of the festival this year as well, which took place at Berklee Performance Center on March 29th, 2017. I formed the ensemble, which includes myself as the arranger, vocalist, and baglama player. The ensemble features prestigious Berklee students, playing western and East Mediterranean instruments.
BERKLEE COMMENCEMENT CONCERT 2017 - 봄 (SPRING)
In this glorious concert in May 2017, Agganis Arena, I was one of the 10 arrangers to conduct an arrangement they did of the music of the honorary doctorate recipients. I arranged Shin Joong Hyun's "봄" (Spring), Shin is one of the most important contemporary artists in South Korea's history. And rearranging and conducting his song in front of him and other honorary doctorate recipients Lionel Richie, Todd Rundgren, Lucinda Williams, Grammy President Neil Portnow in the 7.000 people audience was a great experience.
ROCK FUSION COMPOSITION - GENTLE TESTOSTERONE
For the annual concert of Berklee's second biggest department Contemporary Writing and Production, I was one of the eleven writers to get their pieces performed that has been performed. Gentle Testosterone is a Rock‐Funk Fusion piece about gender inequality, concert took place at Berklee Performance Center, on March 3, 2016.
THE ÇAY PARTY - VAZGEÇTIM (YILDIZ TILBE COVER)
The Çay Party gave 6 recitals at Berklee and had a loyal audience that fills the recital halls. The band members are from U.S., Canada, Palestine, and Turkey. This is my rearrangement of the well known Yıldız Tilbe song.

This is my rearrangement of the Turkish traditional art song: Nasıl Geçti Habersiz, from the final recital of The Çay Party, on November 6th, 2017.
THE ÇAY PARTY - WE'VE HAD ENOUGH (MICHAEL JACKSON COVER)
I've rearranged one of the lesser-known Michael Jackson songs; We've Had Enough, his dedication to peace and protest against the war. The song is written by Michael Jackson and Carole Bayer Sager. Live Mix by Dan Selders and mastering by myself as well.

I formed the ensemble, which includes myself as the arranger and vocalist. The ensemble features prestigious Berklee students, playing exotic Turkish and Middle Eastern instruments.

NOTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY'S ISSI FESTIVAL PERFORMANCE - SIMARIK
My friend Sahan Jazzar, myself, and our friend Aidan Nelson from San Francisco performed at Northeastern University's ISSI festival 2015 (International Student and Scholar institute). We were introduced as students of Berklee College of Music who are playing the music of Turkey. The reaction we received was very flattering.
