I was invited to write and perform lead vocals for the final song of The Music of Kazakhstan segment of the festival!
I was invited to give a workshop about Odd Meter Grooves of the most prestigious Community Music Center of the Greater Boston area: CMCB.
Berklee Commencement 2017. Memorable photos with the honorary doctorate recipients; Lionel Richie Todd Rundgren, Shin Joong-hyun, Lucinda Williams -I had the honor of singing 7 songs by Lionel Richie, Todd Rundgren and Lucinda Williams. I conducted my rearrangement of Shin Joong Hyun's masterpiece 봄 (Spring). Finally I had the honor of announcing Lionel Richie in front of 7.000 audience
It was wonderful to be a part of this team of background vocalists in the Berklee Commencement 2017... Special thanks to Nichelle Mungo, Nancy Marshall and Tom Baskett for their direction and guidance!

I'm honored to win Berklee's Mediterranean Music Institute Achievement Award in 2017, which is given by the directors Matthew Nicholl and Javier Limon. I'm given this award in the night that Aynur Doğan received the Mediterranean Music Master award. The achievement award's winner list is: 2015: Gilbert Mansour (Lebanon) Vasilis Kostas (Greece) 2016: Elif Çakmut (Turkey) Tania Mesa (Canary Islands/Spain) 2017: Mahir Can Küçük (Turkey)
I have received the "Best Website Award" (Portfolio, and website design), I received the award from my chair Andrea Pejrolo, it was an honor. After the ceremony, I shared the news with my teacher Barbara LaFitte, the prestigious oboe player, who gave me valuable feedback during the design of my website.

An official Berklee project called Pamukkale Yolları (Roads of Pamukkale), recording session and video shooting was wonderful... It was a pleasure to work with all these amazing people... This music is an original folk fusion song by myself.

September 17th, Annual Festival
October 28th, 2016. We had the honor to perform traditional Turkish music in the Republic day of Turkey, the reception was organized by Turkish Consulate of Boston. Event took place in The Algonquin Club Of Boston.

Me ,with the singer-songwriter set for children. The happiness of me when I find it in my bed was ineffable. Although my parents didn't want me to study music in Turkey, they were always supportive about me being a musician.
